A call for help sprung up on a Facebook page requesting water bottles to support staff and patients at the Bradford Royal Infirmary and St.Lukes Hospital. Whilst browsing through Facebook, we noticed the post and decided to help. On the hottest day of the year July 25th 2019. We had a call from Wigan NHS Trust asking to provide unlimited ice cream’s for Wigan, Leigh and Wrightington NHS staff for a period of 3 days. We dispatched 3 units on the same day delivering over 3600 ice cream’s.It was a great privilege to have been part of honouring all of the amazing staff of the Wigan NHS Trust on the hottest day of the year. From all of the Super Whippy team we would just like to praise all of the work the NHS does for us all.

Super whippy ice cream collaborated with multi award-winning composer and sound designer Dan Jones as part of the ‘Music for Seven Ice Cream Vans’ exhibition. The process involved each individual ice cream van producing its own symphony simultaneously, resulting in a cacophony of enticing sounds. It was a genuine pleasure to work with and support ‘Absolutely Cultured’ in their attempts to secure Hull as the UK City of Culture 2019. Super Whippy were happy to provide ice creams to school children as a Christmas treat last December. After reading our successful Google reviews we were contacted by the local school head teacher to hire our ice cream vans requesting approximately 1200 ice creams for the whole school – children and teachers. We were happy to help. We were extremely delighted and proud to participate in the Biggest Eid Festival in the North! With well over 30,000 people in attendance over the two day, this one was a real family day out and has become a permanent fixture for Super Whippy Ice Cream, although the weather wasn’t reliable (typical) our ice-creams could be relied upon for the maximum taste and flavour. We are proud sponsors of this Festival, the festival itself caters for a wide range of people from various backgrounds and ethnicities, stall holders from all over the UK to take part in the bazar including London, Glasgow and Birmingham. Did someone say world record and ice cream vans? Yes that’s correct. Super Whippy Ice Cream was proud to take part in the Guinness World record attempt organised by Guinness World records and Whitby Morrison (ice cream vehicle manufacturers).
